In true Finnish tradition, use the cold water shower
The benefits of a cold water shower following a sauna session include cleaning and rejuvenating the skin, activating cold shock proteins, improving blood flow, boosting immune system and helping flush out toxins.
Drink plenty of fluids to replenish your body with fluid lost during your sauna session. Water, herbal teas and fruit juices are good.
