Our Private Dining Experience

Cooinda are able to arrange a private dining experience at the house.

 

The Menu

5 courses + house bread and butter
2 Starters, 1x entrée, 1x main , 1x dessert

We can offer lobster and abalone for an additional fee.

The menu would be unique and crafted/tailored to each experience. The product selection would be subject to season and availability. It will be showcasing Tasmania’s best and local produce. Guests  can make some recommendations on favourite foods or special requests to make your dining experience as special as possible. All allergies/ sensitivities can be catered for.

 

A little something about the Chef, from the Chef

“I'm Tristan Punelle and I've been on a culinary journey in Tasmania for the past 10 years. I fell in love with the incredible local produce here. Tasmania is a food lover's paradise. The pure waters, fertile soils, and cool climate make it a treasure trove of fresh ingredients. I've been digging deep, connecting with local producers, and learning the stories behind these incredible foods.

My cooking is all about showcasing the best of Tasmania while blending traditional French flavours with modern Australian influences”. 

Tristan worked as a chef at the Saffire Freycinet before heading to Hobart, working in a number of restaurants over the past 10 years and finally landing in Bicheno where he opened  Le Coq Restaurant.

  • One week’s notice is required and is dependent on the chef’s availability. Please send requests to us via the Contact Us page. All requests will be confirmed as soon as possible.

  • Cuisine: Modern Australian, French, adaptable to requests

  • Number of people: minimum of 2

  • Cost : $225/ person for 2 people;  and $200/ per person for more than 2
